On October 18, 2004, Robert Luczun out of Clifton, N.J., began working on his 1928 Ford Model AR Roadster Pickup.

Fittingly, this was the anniversary of "The Yellow Kid," which was the first published comic on October 18, 1896. Dubbed "A Historical Documentary on Comics from 1896 Until Now," Robert completed his project on November 15, 2006, clocking over 2500 hours of airbrush art alone and many more hours of research and restoration on his Ford. In addition to comics, this vehicle depicts a few movies, political jokes, and classic advertisements, so people of all ages can identify with some part of this vehicle.

As Robert says, "It just has to be seen in person," and I do wish we all had this opportunity. We can certainly see why this has been the main attraction at every event and also the most photographed.  A few pictures do not give this vehicle the attention it deserves, but it will at least open your eyes. I think that nomatter what your vehicle taste and style is, you would be crazy to NOT be thoroughly fascinated by this Ford.

Thanks Robert!!
