Today, a heated encounter occurred at "THE OFFICE" between Sport Truck's Mike Finnegan and Mini Truckin's Mike Alexander. Nothing was broken and no punches were thrown, and out of all the banter (see below) came a written agreement (see below), just hours fresh at this time.
Mini Truckin' & Sport Truck Editor Challenge
Terms: Mike Alexander and Mike Finnegan are racing against the clock to drive their trucks to the Forbidden Show, March 11, 2007. The bet stipulates that if one truck drives to the show and the other doesn't, the loser will give the winner the following:
- A 12 pack of beer of the winner's choice (Under $50)
- One lift ticket at a local mountain (Bear, or High)
- A story in the loser's magazine describing how bad he lost and how much cooler the winner is
- A full detail on the winner's truck for the show
If both trucks make it to the show and are driven, then there is no loser. Haha! But, we all know, the fun is the fact that both of these guys have a magazine to run and haven't been able to put a truck together and drive it since!
- P.S. I hate you all because I know no one is voting for me LOL
- whatever.
- hey no fair you got front shocks on already!
- i'm screwed! lol
- you're gonna get off easy when i win because i only want a case of Pacifico and not some crazy expensive stuff.
- I'll probably consume more than i'll actually win just trying to stay awake and finish this *** thing.
- i'll bet Neither is the popular vote.
- HAHAHAHA I HATE YOU!
- we’re pretty much in the same boat
- I already tried to vote for neither!!!
- lol. if you need a hand with any of that dont hesitat to not call me. lol.
- the sad thing is i could help out with all of that but i'm on a mission to win some beer and sit back in a lawn chair while you polish my rims.
Which Mike will drive his truck to the Forbidden Fantasy Show on March 11, 2007?
- Mini Truckin' Editor Mike Alexander will definitely have the Weekend Warrior Toyota together in time to roll to Forbidden.
- Sport Truck Editor Mike Finnegan will show up at Forbidden in the driver's seat of his C10.
- Being very competitive and dedicated, both Mikes will spend sleepless nights wrenchin', and will cruise out to Forbidden together.
- What a joke! Everyone knows that these guys are slackers, and that neither truck will be drivable in this lifetime.
