Finnegan works on some air ride suspension while Alexander gets some air at Mammoth!
If you are just joining us, we are well underway in what has officially been called the Editor Challenge, with the objective being to see who is able to drive his custom project truck to the Forbidden Fantasy Show and Shine, in Southern California, on March 11th. The two project trucks, a '67 C10 and '93 Toyota, both have come a long way in the past few weeks, but both need lots of work still. Click here for full details on the challenge: http://blogs.sporttruck.com/1011686/miscellaneous/custom-project-truck-buildoff/index.html
Sport Truck's Mike Finnegan had a productive weekend on his 1967 Chevy C10, plumbing the tanks and compressors and wiring the battery, switches and valves. By now, the truck should be moving up and down under its own power, which is definitely a step in the right direction! These three pictures show Finnegan's most recent progress.
Mini Truckin's Mike Alexander took a different approach to his project build, taking the weekend off to go snowboarding at Mammoth. Maybe this weekend he'll be refreshed and ready to get back to the Weekend Warrior 'Yota.
Time is certainly beginning to run out, with FFF approaching in a mere three weeks. But these guys are used to deadlines, right?
