Here it is, my new vehicle being used on the commute to the Sport Truck headquarters. This '92 GT Dyno BMX bicycle really is what gets me to and from work, but at least I'm rolling on 20's. Let me give special thanks to my father for giving it to me as an Xmas gift 15 years ago!
You may be wondering why I am using this bike to get to work everyday. Well, I'll get started by telling you that my Chevy S-10 is in the shop for accident repairs. I have a decent claim against the other driver and it got me a rental vehicle for 30days. Those thirty days are well over and I do not have the money to spend on a rental. So my next option is to carpool with my wife in her new Crew Cab Silverado, which is pretty easy since she only works one block away from our office. The only thing about is I would come in at 7am instead of 9am and leave at 4pm instead of 5pm. Ok, so I come in early, work and extra hour out of my day, and leave one hour early. I'm cool with that. However, my boss Mike Finnegan doesn't see it that way. He believes that I have to work until 5pm even though I've been working more than my normal required hours. Since I have no other vehicle and cannot afford another, this GT bike is my next best means of transportation. I just hope I don't get run over on the streets of Ana-crime. Today's drivers don't look out for bicyclist on the streets and it scares me.
