This time tomorrow, I will be over 1,800 miles away from home, in a land I have heard of but have never personally explored, called Bowling Green, Kentucky, for the 2007 Havoc East Show.
I am pretty much in denial about this trip, as I have not packed one bit, and recently have literally forgotten that I had plans for this weekend. From the trip to the truck show itself, I really have no clue what to expect. I have been told it is beautiful there, and that it will be hot and humid. Beyond that, it's all a mystery to me. Residing in Southern California, the furthest I have been for a truck show is Arizona for this year's Havoc West. And as for traveling in general, I have never been to "the south." I can't wait to see what the custom truck scene is like there, and am glad to have this opportunity to gain some valuable insight into this mysterious world of long-distance custom shows. I know how the hobby is done here in Southern California, but I have no idea how it's done in the Kentucky area; we'll find out!
I will report back to you guys next week with evidence of our journey through stories, videos, and pictures. Hope to see you all out there!
Wish us well - hopefully there will be no problems on the websites in the meantime haha!
