slim shady engine

this is what an aluminum big block chevy cylinder block weighs.......

this is the Brodix engine block sitting on a bathroom scale. i was excited to see how light the block was so as soon as the ups guy showed up i busted out the scale and set the block on it. 138 pounds without the main caps installed is light. its so light i can tote the the thing around. A cast iron block is about a hundred pounds heavier and i can't lift it. i remember when i weighed that litte. it was 6 grade i think.
