What's your favorite movie car?

What is your favorite car/truck that was in a movie or tv show?

I can think of a few that I would really like to have in my shop.

1. Colt Seavers Truck from The Fall Guy (1981-1986). This truck would be a perfect daily driver for me. Well this or John Travoltas truck from Urban Cowboy they had different paint but the idea was the same. Lifted with cheesy roll bars and all kinds off redneck style.

2. The '67 Camaro from Better Off dead (1985). This would be the "show off car" Nothing says bad ass like a slick black Camaro. The only thing I would do different was install a big block power plant

3. The Willy's Coupe in the made for TV movie Hot Rod (1979). I'm not sure how many of you even saw this movie but it was full of crappy dialog and awesome cars. The Willy has a straight axle in front, fat slicks in back and a gray primer paint job.

It's not exactly a truck that I would like to own, but the MPC truck model reminded me that I have 1/25th scale kit of Billy Carter's C-10. For those might not remember, or are a victim of our publio school system Billy was President Jimmy Carter's little brother that had a thing for taking a leak in public. Of course he was usually drunk, so I guess that doesn't make him a bad man... What was the question?

2. Real or fictional?

My faves, in no particular order, would have to be the DeLorean from Back to the Future, Marty's Toyota pickup also from Back to the Future, the A-Team Van, Bullitt... and I'll think of more later... lol

3. The first one that comes to mind is Grandpa Munster's Dragula. It is a rail dragster with a coffin for a body. The second car that popped up was Robin Masters' Ferrari from Magnum PI. If you are a fan of the show like I am, you would know that Tom Selleck's character, Thomas Magnun would borrow the car from Robin Masters. Even though he drove it all the time, it wasn't his.

4. Marty's lifted Toyota was the bomb.



i'd like to have the '55 shoebox from Two Lane Blacktop.

I also wouldn't mind having the GMC dually from the beginning of Canon Ball Run. Remember the part where those dudes drive straight up the embankment at the hotel to get on the freeway? classic!

Templeton Peck's '84 Corvette in the A-team was pretty cool too.

Ooh how about that car from Hardcastle and McCormick? what the hell was that thing?

6. The car from Hardcastle and McCormick was a Coyote. The one in the first season was built over a VW chassis and the one in the second and third season was built on a DeLorean.

I can't belive the Corvette from "Corvette Summer" or the yellow van with the water bed in the back from "The Van" didn't come up yet.
