Great news for 10,000 North Carolina drivers came in late June 2008, as these unfortunate drivers... ...whose license plates begin with "WTF", can replace their plates for free. DMV officials were notified of the three-letter vulgar phrase that appeared on some license plates after some teenage grandchildren directed their grandmother to the phrase, which appeared on her license plate. Now here's the question - is it possible to request such a license plate?
