Yay or nay for the new 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8? I must say, my vote is Yay.
Big, bold, and not boasting of miraculous fuel mileage and hybrid modes and earth-saving features, the new Challenger has my attention. I like that it's big; I like that it has that classic muscle car look. I like that it doesn't look like some futuristic car void of everything that makes a car a car - like an actual engine. I'm sorry, but it's not a crime to drive something with some power. It's not hurting anyone or anything on the road. The Prius will not save the planet, and a smart car actually just makes you look silly. So, men, please be men and don't jump on the bandwagon of small, feminine people-movers just because it just "seems like the right thing to do." I'm not saying this is the car for you, but I think you get my point...
Sorry about the pictures - I was just on a walk outside and decided to grab a few quick pictures. Upon returing to the office, I built my own Challenger. All I need is about 45K and I'll be ready to roll.
