One of my dad’s friends Paul Gommi dropped by in his newly acquired barn find ’32 Panel truck. He scored the truck from a guy in San PedroCalifornia that I think was the original owner.
When Paul got the panel home he started adding a few things to make a better driver. He rebuilt the flat head and chucked on some 18-inch rims he got off an old Bonneville race car. Paul also noticed there was some brush marks barley visible under the green paint. He wet sanded the areas and unearthed the Paul’s Appliance Service lettering. How’s that for a coincidence, the name matched. There were a few things that really stood out to me, one was the four digit phone number on the door and the second was the cool heat diffuser installed on the tailpipe. I spent a little while walking around the truck checking out all the little details and then I thought take pictures stupid…So here they are.
