The handle system is completed. We may add welded features to store the extension chord on to the handle though if it can be efficiently made. Speaking of the extension chord, I bought a red and black 12/3 chord as a tribute to Husqvarna. There was an orange (KTM) extension chord, but it was better quality and much more costly. A setback though is that the handle reinforcement plates half cut on the band saw are incomplete because the band saw v-belt broke. The search for the (short) v-belt replacement isn't just a trip to the auto parts store. More on that later.
The hitch ball tower was made adjustable for placement along the frame rails. The low height of the tower allows the mover to rotate under the trailer and still allows the trailer's landing gear to be placed. This is genius. The quiet of the jury box promotes the effervescing of innovation. . .
The transmission mounting plates will be slotted by Scott at work to allow chain adjustment. Other than cutting the lowering blocks for the transmission and motor, we're done on the mechanicals.
We've got to get the motor to do the final wiring, however, Scott has adapted the quad thumb throttle for go/no-go. This allows the operator to keep his hands on the handlebar during operation. We're also adapting a clutch lever to applying force to the switch for the trailer's electric brakes. That'll be mechanical delight. We need a crossbar pad for the handlebars for safety!"
