An update from the garage...
...regarding the making of the trailer mover for this trailer: "As of Sunday, March 8, trailer mover progress shows the chassis frame rails, the castor wheels cross member tack welded in place, and the handle system.
Note that the handle system uses an OEM Suzuki DR400 handlebar and Honda CRF One Industries bar risers.
Monday's progress got the remaining 1/4 inch transmission drive keys, handlebar shims installed, and transmission cross-member plates cut and drilled. The band saw belt shredded, so that needs to be replaced. Fabricator 1 was cutting some handle reinforcing plates that will surely make the mover look a lot like an F1 chassis when the saw came apart.
Fabricator 2 is adapting the Suzuki LTZ400 quad thumb throttle for speed control. Fabricator 1 is working on the ball-mount cross-member setup. That finishes up the mechanical design. Fab 1 and 2 need to get the control system in-place Tuesday.
Wednesday, March 11, the bulk of the mover's parts are expected. That leaves Wednesday and Thursday to finish the mover."
