Oh now we didn't! oh yes we did! Ok, I did. Calin wants no part of this one.

So we're in Texas and I'm soakin' up the culture. Indeed, everything is truly big here. We've got big speed limits (80+mph!!!!), big car dealers, bigass Walmart stores all over, and now, now I've got bigass horns on the hood of the '73. On the way back to a friend's house after having a bigass breakfast at the Firehouse in Granberry, I spotted this dude sellin these horns on the side of the road. I couldn't help myself.

After a mostly boring 15 hour drive from Phoenix to Ft. Worth the day before, I needed something to amuse myself during the next leg of our trip, a 6 hour jaunt to Conroe. So I unbolted the hood emblem and mounted the horns right above the grill where everyone could see them. Boss Hogg would be proud. I spent the next six hours on the road laughing my ass off at people's reactions on the highway while Calin wanted to slump down in his seat and hide.

What's the big deal? What's more Texan than bull horns on an old Chevy truck?
